Councillor Sylvia Dunn, joined forces with volunteers, Seaford Town Councillors,
Seaford Lifeguards and the Marine Conservation Society to take part in
International Beachwatch Survey at Seaford Bay last weekend (17-18th September).
Despite terrible weather, 24 volunteers arrived to take part in the survey and
beach clean. It was estimated that over 40kg of litter, including bottle
tops, plastic straps, odd socks, small toys, fishing net, glass and charcoal was
cleared from the shingle and responsibly disposed of over the weekend. |
