Access in Seaford and Newhaven Committee

The group is the "Access in Seaford and Newhaven Committee" comprising disabled and non-disabled people who work to make the local environment more accessible to everyone. This could include working with the Highways Dept to request repairs to pavements or highlighting the most approprite sites for drop kerbs. Also raising disability awareness by having stalls at the Seaford Fun Day or Christmas Late Night Shopping event. And raising awareness of the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act with local shops and businesses.
They meet once a month at 6.30pm - usually the third Monday - at Seeability, St Peters Road, Seaford. Twice a year they have a meeting in Newhaven.
New members always welcome.
