About this Site

WELCOME
Seaford & Bishopstone Neighbourhood Watch was established in 1986, being almost one of the first schemes
in the country.  It is registered with the Charity Commission, Number 295228, and our details can be viewed on the Charity Commission Website.

There are over 9000 properties in Seaford and Bishopstone, but only approx 10% give support to NHW and have become members of the Association by subscribing £3 per year per household (or £2 for senior citizens). We would like more members to make our movement a stronger force within the town .

Recent achievments -

  1. We are very pleased to report that NHW worked closely with Seaford Town Council and Trading Standards and had a major hand in the setting up of the Seaford “No Cold Calling“ Zone, which became operative on 24th March 2012. NHW has sponsored the provision of the three signs on the approach roads to Seaford.
  2. NHW also took part in the discussions with the Police to restructure the areas covered by the Police Panel Meetings and fully supported the creation of three new Panels to replace the previous five Panels.
  3. NHW have been represented at the 2011 Fun Day and Bike Fest, along with attendance and support to the Police Quality Street events.
  4. We have purchased new Display Boards and a Banner to raise our profile when attending outside events.
  5. We have decided to have 4 editions of the Newsletter each year (2 by hand delivery, but all 4 in Seaford Scene), to enable our Members to receive regular updates
