About this site

“BY WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN”

Seaford Seniors’ Forum is one of seven such bodies throughout the County. They are all affiliated to East Sussex Seniors’ Association (E.S.S.A). This body has direct access and representation on various providers of Public Service Committees such as; The County Council, N.H.S / PCT, and various agencies.

Older people are an under-used resource.  We have a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the real problems facing our society at this time.  More and more groups across the country are being formed to give seniors a platform to make their views known.  Our Forum is one such group.

Taking the lead from our membership, the main committee and special theme groups meet monthly to agree in which direction our energy should be used.  This involves representing ourselves both in and out of town, organising open events, meeting decision makers, taking part in consultations, being involved in projects and lots more…

The Seaford Seniors’ Forum is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation working to improve the quality of life for the senior citizens of Seaford.

We are a voluntary community group representing the views of our members.

We liaise with and assist other groups when a common cause is identified.

Our special theme groups get together to put forward a strong case – successfully too!

How you can help the Seaford Seniors’ Forum

  • Become a member – membership is free.  Our fast-growing membership is our strength in helping to shape the future of Seaford.
