About This Site

The Seaford Gardening Club was formed in August 1985 by a group of local keen gardeners, (some are still members), as a means of people interested in growing both flowers and vegetables to get together and exchange ideas and arrange appropriate talks by professional speakers. Membership is now over 90, and there is always room for more. The Club is affiliated to the R.H.S.

Meetings are usually held at 7.30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month from September to June at the Clinton Centre, using the rear entrance in Clinton Lane, Seaford. The December meeting is always a Christmas social for members and their guests.

Excursions are also arranged from spring to autumn to various venues in the South East.

Members gain certain discounts on plants purchased at various outlets in the area. Please ask the Social Secretary for current details -telephone number (01323) 491331.

The current membership is £10.00 per person for a year and can be obtained at any meeting. Visitors are very welcome for a fee of £2.00.

There is a bring and buy plant stall at each meeting and refreshments are available for those who require them.
