“A Golf Day for Seaford in Bloom”
which took place at Seaford Head Golf Course on
Wednesday June 10th proved to be a great
success.
The £500 that was raised towards the floral displays in
Seaford included the proceeds from a well supported
raffle.
Seaford in Bloom would like to thank the
organisers of the event, Arthur Bradbury and John
Lockyer and the eleven teams of four that took part.
The “Lion Kings” were the winning team
followed by runners up “The Ol’ Shankers” and “The
Autumn Boys”
It was a most enjoyable day for everyone
and was rounded off with Tony Osborne presenting a
bottle of champagne to the “Nearest to Tin” winner,
Gordon Thow.
