Seaford in Bloom

Open Gardens 2004

The Seaford in Bloom Open Gardens Day held on Sunday 11th July was a great success. The admission fees, cream teas and plant sales raised an amazing £1300 towards the floral displays in Seaford town. This is the most money ever raised at a single event for Seaford in Bloom, even surpassing Open Gardens Day 2003 when conditions were sunny and dry.

Among the Seven Open Gardens, Isabel and Ashley Stephenson opened their delightful garden to the public for the first time, and I am attaching a few photographs. Pics 8 and 11 show Ashley (centre in blue cardigan) offering his expert advice to some of the visitors.
