The Seaford in
Bloom Open Gardens Day on Sunday July 1st 2007 raised
£1,100 from ticket sales, cream teas and the sale of kindly donated
plants.
The inclement
weather relented for one day and, despite strong competition from
other major Seaford events and the big concert transmitted live on
BBC1, SIB supporters turned out in force to view the eight lovely
gardens on show which included three new venues.
The kindness of
those who opened their gardens or donated plants to sell and the
enthusiastic support of everyone who visited is greatly appreciated
by the SIB Committee as it makes all their hard work worth while.
