Household Recycling and "Bring-to" Centres

Glass, cardboard, plastics, aluminium, green garden waste, batteries, paper and textiles can be recycled at all or some of the centres. Clean plastics, foils, glass bottles and jars as above. Please do not leave recycling in plastic bags - they clog up the sorting system. Put the right items in the right skip. Clear glass generates more revenue than coloured, which in themselves have different values, so we do need to separate them.
Do not leave contributions on the floor - it may not be picked up
Bring your recycling 'little and often' rather than hoarding
Please do not leave uncatered-for items (such as cardboard at mini-centres) as it costs a lot to clear it up - take it to the appropriate centre. LDC has a leaflet showing what can be taken where (sites vary).
