Why Recycle Paper & Cardboard?

Paper and cardboard makes up 32% (nearly one-third) of all the household rubbish we throw away.
Recycling paper and cardboard boxes saves trees! Most newspapers are now made with at least 50% recycled paper. Every year we need a forest the size of Wales to provide all the paper we use in Great Britain.
Manufacturing 1 tonne of recycled paper results in 74% less air pollution and 43% less water pollution compared to manufacturing paper using virgin wood pulp.
