Update July 2010 for Seahaven Trefoil Guild

A couple of our members are also Friends of Blackland Farm (the camp
site belonging to the girl guides of East Sussex) and one of them was
able to help at the site recently when Brownies from over the Region met
for "Brownie Day".
The theme was "animals" and the girls had the
opportunity to watch a flock of ducks being herded around by a young and
enthusiastic sheep dog, to get to know some husky dogs and also look at
reptiles. The creature that caused the most squeals was the tarantula
spider (see picture!). There were crafts and other things for the
Brownies to do and they had an altogether lovely day. Our member
helped to serve in the shop which was set up in one of the marquees so
that the Brownies had the opportunity to buy various toys and other
items relating to animals.
