Who are we?
The University of the Third Age (U3A) is composed of people devoted to learning. It is a self help organisation with members participating in both the teaching and the learning processes, sharing their knowledge skills and experiences. The only qualification our members need is enthusiasm.
Seaford U3A is a friendly group which was established in 1989 and now has about 350 members. A good variety of courses is offered plus a social programme which offers general meetings with a speaker, pub lunches, country walks, a quiz afternoon and a coffee morning. We are affiliated with the Third Age Trust which also offers activities available to U3a’s nation wide. Membership is open to all adults who have retired from full time employment.
The annual subscription is £10 per year. There is a small additional operational cost for members joining courses. Enquiries about membership should be addressed to John Hall, Membership Secretary on 01323 891581.
