  • 25th March 2.00pm  Meeting with Guest Speaker Heather Woodward “Lord Nelson, the myths and the truths”.
  • 30th March U3A Explores science at the RI.  Two lectures, the first by Dr Lewis Dartnell on "Extra Terrestrial Life" and the second by Prof. Susan Jebb entitled "The Obesity Timebomb".  Tickets cost £15 each.
  • 12th May Quiz afternoon at 2:30 in St. Leonard's Church Hall.
  • 19th June Book Sale & Coffee Morning starting at 10:00 in St. Leonard's Church Hall.
  • 22nd June-28th June U3A Jazz Appreciation network holiday to Rimini.  Call me for more details.
  • 13th July Lewes U3A have invited members to join them in a coach tour holiday to Holland.  The theme is the Delights of Holland and the Dutch Masters.  6 days £469.
  • 21st July Summer Walk led by Maggie Jakeman.  Full details to follow.

    3rd Age Trust
  • 2010 Photography Competition.  This year the theme is “Coast”.  Please call for more information.  Closing date 31.3.10
  • 24th March  A talk on Neuroethics at The Royal Society in London.  Tickets required.

    Summer Schools
  • North West Residential School, Preston 7-10th April 2010.  Cost £215 full board.  Courses on Archaeology, Improving your Golf, Family History and John Ruskin amongst others.
  • South East Forum Summer School will be held at the University Chichester from 6th-9th July 2010. Accommodation will be in single en suite or standard rooms and subjects will range from various aspects of History and Science, Music or Art.  Further details and booking forms are available from Mary Russell on 01293 520853 or Edna Wright on 01903 753696.   Cost ranges between £275.00 and £130.00
